Y2K Show

This years show has been chosen with the World Showband Championships and our 30th Anniversary in mind. The band members were asked to nominate their favourite show from previous years and the 'Aladdin' show was the clear winner.

The 'Aladdin' show was last performed in 1995, although only a handful of the members who performed it then are still with us today.

Alterations have had to be made to the score and the show design to compensate for our inexperienced players and a new musical number has been added.

Arabian nights.
A friend like me.
A whole new world.
Flight of the bumble bee.
One Jump/Finalé.

Happy 30th Birthday

  • Lynne Donkin - Drum Major/Guard Instructor - 19.5 years
  • Angela Ellis - Show Designer - 18 years

Canada Fundraising

Fundraising appears to be going well to help get the band over to Canada. We have raised around £4000, although we are still waiting for a company to sponsor our venture.
